Credit Term
CCRIS Conduct Codes
The monthly repayment record shown against each account in your CCRIS report. It is a simple count of how many months a payment is behind — 0 means paid on time, 1 means one month late, up to higher numbers for longer arrears.
CCRIS displays your last 12 months of conduct for every facility as a row of figures. A '0' means the instalment was paid within the month it was due; a '1' means one month's payment is outstanding, '2' means two months behind, and so on. Lenders read this row to see not just whether you owe money, but whether you pay on schedule and whether any lateness is recent or old.
One late month is not the end of the world, but a run of rising numbers is a red flag to a lender. The good news is that CCRIS shows only a rolling window, so as you resume paying on time, on-time months gradually replace the late ones and your recent conduct improves. If a late mark is wrong — say a payment was made but not recorded — you can raise it with the bank and Bank Negara to have it corrected.
